'Flappy Bird' Removed from App Store by Developer

I wish I understood the logic behind this but someone presented the fact that since Mr. Nguyen lives in Vietnam, having all of this money so suddenly could pose a risk to his life. Still, the world is strange.

I read some articles saying that he is creating a download frenzy, better download it now before it's gone type deal. $50k a day, can you imagine?

Yeah it may be a nice marketing ploy, but the author has been visibly annoyed by his games success since the start. Not sure why that's a bad thing.
